Victoria Baths Manchester wedding venue

Victoria Baths was built between 1903-1906, with no expense spared. It has three pool halls, a Turkish Baths suite with a Superintendents flat above and various outbuildings. One of the pools has been floored over as a sports hall. All the pool halls have balconies.  This is perfect for any couples looking for an alternative or quirky wedding venue in Manchester.

    Pickwell Manor wedding photography

Pickwell Manor – The  Venue chosen by Kirstie Allsop’s for Channel 4 programme “The Best of Both worlds”

    Kirsty Allsop and Phil Spencer

Why choose Pickwell Manor as your wedding venue in North Devon?

We know that for many of you seeking the perfect venue for your civil ceremony, a country house is top of your list.  And we can certainly see why as they typically offer luxurious decor, gorgeous grounds and yet retain that sense of homeliness.  The perfect marriage of style and comfort.

And one of our favourite examples of this type of venue is Pickwell Manor, the venue of choice for nuptials of gorgeous couple Lucy and Gareth. An impressive manor house in the rolling North Devon countryside. The staff working there are friendly and attentive and this attitude is certainly a major selling factor when it comes to choosing this venue for your wedding day as is their commitment to offering a country house experience without compromising on the high standards you’d expect from a city location.

Pickwell Manor is like a home away from home offering the perfect setting for a traditional country wedding party – with a slightly bohemian twist. Weather permitting you can go to Putsborough beach with your wedding guests to play cricket and watch the sunset. Why not?

Channel 4 went to film in North Devon with Kirstie Allsop’s programme coming on late January 2014 – called ‘The Best of Both Worlds’ chose to film at Pickwell Manor. We love Kirstie Allsop.

And of course it is this grand and friendly twist that we love most about the place, so our wedding photos today takes you on a fantasy trip to North Devon and Pickwell Manor as we dream and doodle away the kind of wedding we’d design for a couple choosing this type of venue…
